Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, Brewin Design Office

 

Brewin Design Office is an independent interior design business, founded in Singapore in 2012. The firm is a mid-sized team of designers that delivers projects of various sizes across a portfolio of residential, hospitality, commercial and cultural projects in Asia.

 

Brewin Design Office is seeking a creative, motivated, dynamic and highly collaborative individual to join the team as a marketing and business development coordinator. They will work alongside the studio’s directors on efforts related to marketing the firm, our projects, and our people through various traditional and social media platforms, editorials and other forms of public relations, and all aspects of support work in preparation for such marketing and promotional efforts.

They will also be involved in business development to research and identify opportunities, as well as coordination to assist in securing such opportunities through producing presentations, putting together proposals and coordinating other collateral.

This is a multifaceted role that requires a highly organised, all-rounded individual who is flexible, comfortable wearing different 'hats' and able to seamlessly switch between tasks, adapting easily to different tasks and being able to solve a range of issues. 

What you will do:

  • Company Marketing

    • Updating, maintaining and improving website content and user experience

    • Writing and developing clear and concise copy for marketing materials

    • Updating company collateral including portfolios and brochures aligned with brand standards

    • Creating, updating, maintaining and improving marketing collateral

    • Generating ideas and coordinating any other related efforts for marketing the firm

  • Project Marketing

    • Planning and executing any marketing efforts required for projects at or nearing completion, including photography, videography, styling, press releases

    • Strategising, generating ideas and coordinating any other related efforts for marketing new and older projects

    • Project documentation

  • Editorial & Other Media

    • Build and maintain relationships with magazines, publications, writers, editors, journalists and know who to pitch which projects to across different platforms and markets

    • Develop social media content

  • Other

    • Marketing collateral

    • Other content and communications

    • Other PR strategies and outreach

    • Graphic design

    • Photography and videography

    • Ad hoc projects

  • Business Development

    • Research and identify new business opportunities across key markets

    • Develop and/or maintain materials to support business development activities, as needed

  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s portfolio of work, practice areas and firm-wide capabilities

  • Maintain resources and information systems: ordering materials, updating project documentation, resumes and image libraries

  • Coordinate other responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience for a design or professional services firm

  • Degree in Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create effective presentations and other marketing collateral

  • Self-motivated with interpersonal skills and a great team-player

  • Strong organisational skills to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities at a time

  • Strong graphic communication and design skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign is a must

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Proficiency in video production and editing is a plus
