Chanelling the spirit of Barcelona's grand boulevard in the heart of Hong Kong

Internationally acclaimed, Hong Kong-based design firm AB Concept recently completed its first London project, Mei Ume Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel on London’s Ten Trinity Square.

Named Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2015, Vicky Lau of Tate Dining Room and Bar in Hong Kong draws on both a background in graphic design as well as a belief in serendipity for the inspiration behind many of her award-winning dishes.

Pon Ding is a cafe, independent bookstore, gallery and event space all rolled into one. ‘It’s more of a casual art museum, a creative institution,’ says Chen of the space.

The Fujin Tree lifestyle brand helped put the Songshan District of Taiwan on the map with its charming tree-lined residential streets dotted with parks and community gardens, and its proliferation of  lifestyle boutiques, shops and cafes. 

The rapid expansion of Singapore’s cultural scene over the last year has been accompanied by an equally exciting expansion of the food scene.
