Home Decor & Lifestyle Fair Home InStyle Returns to Hong Kong in 2025
This April, the city’s premier houseware fair will feature traditional crafts alongside cutting-edge lifestyle design at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
The 2025 Home InStyle fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), takes place over four days from 27 April to 30 April. This year marks the fair’s second edition after its rebranding from the HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair, following a merger with the HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair that sees the two complementary offerings brought together. The 2025 event will showcase a diverse range of lifestyle and home decor brands, along with emerging designers and start-ups from countries in Asia and beyond. Notable international exhibitors include Tottori Crafts from Japan and Pigmentarium from the Czech Republic.
‘Hong Kong is a fascinating hub, and it makes sense for us to be at Home InStyle because the local governments are actively encouraging cultural and economic exchange,’ Takaharu Saito of Tottori Crafts tells Design Anthology. ‘There’s now a direct flight from Tottori to get here too.’ The brand collaborates with homegrown design workshops across Japan’s least populous prefecture to promote Tottori’s rich craft history and artisanal network on an international platform. ‘The items we’ve chosen to bring to the fair strongly reflect the region’s character,’ Saito notes. Among these entrants are a set of handcrafted knives; face masks and folk toys made of wood, paper and straw; and kasuri textiles woven from indigenous cotton.

Pigmentarium, an independent perfume house founded by Tomáš Ric, will introduce its signature perfumes and incense collections at the fair, which also marks the atelier’s debut at an international event and its entry into the Asian market. ‘We’ve planned the launch of our brand-new fragrance Brutal in tandem with Home InStyle,’ says Ric. ‘But it’s actually our porcelain incense altar I’m most excited to bring with me.’ This collectible, featuring a metallic finish, was designed in partnership with renowned porcelain designer Daniel Piršč for an exclusive product line.
Home InStyle will continue to welcome exhibitors from Hong Kong, including Gee Long Group, which will present the newly patented New Wave Pendulum and a new version of its trademark solar-powered Swinging Sticks. ‘Hong Kong provides us with the opportunity to evaluate the global market from one location,’ says brand representative Torsten Schneider. ‘Everyone interested in new technology and style comes to this city for Home InStyle.’
