The 2026 edition of Art Basel Hong Kong brings together 240 galleries from 41 countries, a reminder of the fair’s global reach and its continued pull across the Asia Pacific region.

This year’s programmes bring sharper focus. Encounters, led by four Asia-based curators, returns with large-scale installations that shape the fair’s immersive experience, while Echoes turns attention to emerging voices and recent practice. Beyond the halls of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, films, talks and city-wide installations carry the fair into the city, widening its conversation with local audiences.
