Initiated in March 2024 and staged during Paris Fashion Week in the Jardin des Tuileries, Matter and Shape is an annual design salon in Paris. Powered by WSN, it runs alongside Premiere Classe across the same four-day period, engaging an international audience that includes boutique owners, buyers and retail consultants, as well as design collectors, architects, interior designers, journalists and industry figures from Paris and beyond.

Originally launched as a virtual design platform, Matter and Shape has since expanded into a physical salon, supported by an established online community and professional network. The event presents work across industrial and object design, interior design, fashion and the decorative arts, bringing together established practices and emerging studios within a dedicated exhibition format.
