Scale and Substance

Just inside this south harbour Sydney home by Australian architect Kerry Phelan, a sinuous, sculpted stairway complete with brass detailing is set within a double-height travertine entrance hall and  flanked by artworks by Anish Kapoor and Wolfgang Tillmans, setting the stage for a home full of character and artistic achievement.
