Art Week Tokyo is an annual five-day, citywide platform celebrating the creativity and diversity of Tokyo’s art scene. Through exhibitions, gallery presentations, performances, talks and cross-disciplinary programmes spanning architecture, design, fashion, and culinary culture, it encourages meaningful connection, exchange and dialogue across communities.

Taking place November 4–8, 2026, this edition features exhibitions at a record 55 museums, galleries and art spaces as well as special platforms. AWT Focus invites ten Japanese and international curators to organise special projects at spaces across the city, AWT Video presents a pop-up screening programme in public space, and AWT Bar commissions a young architect, a rising chef and contemporary artists to create a multisensory art experience that stimulates conviviality and connection. On November 6–8, the AWT Bus provides a free hop-on, hop-off bus service to all participating venues, with buses running every 15 minutes across multuple routes between 10am and 6pm.
