The American Hardwood Export Council presents the Southeast Asia premiere of Forested Future, a documentary by Petr Krejci, in Bangkok.

Set in the hardwood forests of the eastern United States, the documentary explores our complex relationship with trees and the natural world. Following foresters, farmers, artisans and ecologists across the Appalachian region, the film looks at traditional approaches to land stewardship and the communities working to restore our deep-rooted connection with nature. 

Inspired by environmental journalist Fred Pearce’s book A Trillion Trees, it offers a considered look at forestry, regeneration and what a more thoughtful relationship with our natural resources might look like.
