Jia Curated returns to Bali Festival Park in August 2025, building on the success of the 2024 edition, which showcased more than one hundred participating brands and brought in some 6000 visitors.
The 2025 edition almost doubles in size, presenting more than 70 displays including 150 Indonesian and international brands over a larger exhibition area, all under the overall theme of Evolving Perspectives.
Participants are invited to explore how new and changing perspectives can shape creativity and foster new grounds for curiosity and creative practice, leading to increased adaptability and inclusivity.
This year's 360º Design Dialogues programme is once again curated and hosted by Design Anthology, returning with a diverse and inclusive group of panellists representing voices from Indonesia and around the world.
Once again, this immersive weekend dedicated to craft, design and culture aims at bringing people together, connecting designers, makers, artists, thought-leaders, professionals and the public.
Jia Curated's mission is to ignite creativity, presenting new ideas and new ways of displaying products and materials, eschewing the format of a traditional trade show and creating an immersive experience where practitioners and professionals can connect, fostering opportunities for commercial as well as cultural exchange.
Extending over 10,000 square metres, the stunning landscape of Bali Festival Park, an abandoned theme park lost to time for over two decades and featuring overgrown pathways and weathered structures, will once again offer a unique backdrop for the event. Its pronounced jungle ambience will frame the exhibitions and create a spectacular stage for events, talks and performances.
Every year, free exhibition space is offered to countries where Jia Curated's founders see the potential in terms of creativity and innovation. The two guest curators this year are from Japan and Taiwan and will showcase works from selected designers from respective countries.
This year’s edition sees exciting additions to the programme: a new architecture exhibition curated by Suzy Annetta, founder of Design Anthology; an Art Trail featuring works of Indonesian artists throughout the park; curated pavilions from Japan and Taiwan; the Garuda installation by Japanese creative duo Straft and plenty more.
Now at its fourth edition, the event remains loyal to its founding pillar: the Indonesian value of gotong royong (collaborative effort) symbolising solidarity and communal cooperation in society. With gotong royong as a guiding principle, Jia Curated pays homage to Indonesia's cultural heritage, transforming into a platform that not only exhibits design and craftsmanship but also strengthens social bonds, emphasises collaboration, and celebrates the collective strength arising from the shared creative journey.
In addition to the main event activities, visitors can experience music and cultural performances and enjoy an ample food and drinks offer.
Jia CURATED is organised by Jia, which supports local designers and brands through retail experiences and curated events.
